2 INTRODUCTION WELL-BEING COURSES Welcome to Adult Community & Family Learning, January - April Well-being Course Guide. We hope you enjoy this terms selection of courses. Our well-being courses are funded by Department for Education as part of a Research Project. At no time are your details shared with any other government department e.g. JCP. The data collected from these courses will help shape government policy and influence funders so others may benefit from this in the future. To attend one of these courses you must attend an information and advice session with one of our advisers prior to starting the course. We will ask you to complete a mood and wellbeing questionnaire to see if you are eligible. Help and support will be provided for you to do this. If you are eligible, we will require your written consent to let us use the information for research purposes only. Please contact or to book your appointment with one of our advisors. All courses are free of charge, except where indicated, and include any necessary resources etc. The courses are designed for anyone who wants to improve their well-being. By you completing the course and providing feedback you will also be helping others, maybe someone you care about, who will benefit in the same way in the future. As these courses are part of a research project, you are only able to attend one course per learning year: 01 August 2016 to 31 July Reduce your stress and develop a more relaxing lifestyle Stress is a commonly experienced problem.
