5 Membership Vote to Approve Restated Articles of Incorporation Current (2003 Articles with 2012 Amendment): Articles II & III describes Interfaith as being organized for public & charitable purposes Revision Submitted Today for Membership Approval: removes public from Articles II & II and refers only to charitable purposes Why the Change? The CA State Board of Equalization has requested this change in order to continue granting Interfaith property tax-exempt status.

9 POWAY-RB EXPANSION HOW CAN YOUR FAITH CENTER HELP? The following types of support are needed to launch the new center by November 7: Monetary Donations: to cover staffing, materials, travel expenses, and direct client assistance to meet emergency financial needs and to support with housing and transportation. In-Kind Donations: Service center office supplies and materials, non-perishable food & personal hygiene items. Trinity of San Diego (offers food distribution MWF from 3 to 6 PM). Volunteers and advertising: Client Intake Volunteers (training can begin immediately in Escondido) and handout information on services, days and hours to all those in need.

20 Recovery & Wellness Center A full-service behavioral healthcare facility that will provide high quality, cost-effective substance abuse and mental health treatment for homeless and low-income adults.

21 Whole Person Care Involves treating all aspects of an individual. The mental, physical, and emotional aspects will be attended to by staff at the center.

22 Collaborations Vista Community Clinic Tri-City Medical Center With these collaborations we will be able to provide quality services that target the whole-person care concept.

23 A Model for Integrated Care Follow patients through entire Continuum of Care, including community integration Fully integrated: Physical Health Behavioral Health Community Services Integration will create better health outcomes Measurable Outcomes Better management of chronic health diseases Reduced trips to Hospital Emergency Departments Increased integrated care Increased Revenues with new patients Substance Abuse Grant Outcomes Less drug and alcohol bookings at Vista Detention Facility

24 Spirituality Spirituality is a key factor in addiction and long-term recovery because active addiction takes away the ability to be spiritual. To fully recover from addiction there is a must to reconnect to spirituality, the search for purpose and connections in life beyond one self.

25 You Can Help Art Workshops Yoga Exercise Music Any and all ideas from you are welcome and encouraged Spirituality can be practiced and strengthened by taking the time to celebrate what we are grateful for, what we trust in, what inspires us, and how we exercise faith.

26 As of Now We need a place to call home for our Recovery & Wellness Center We have a potential site in Vista (but not a sure thing) We have discussed the possibility of looking for a site in Oceanside Please, if you know of any sites or buildings that may be available we could use your help
