2 Walking the footsteps towards Corporate Social Responsibility, Bosch Nashik, EPCOS-TDK and a few other likeminded corporate houses having their presence in the city with the urge to serve needy of Nashik came together and created a common platform for societal activities And so in 2003, Nashik Run was born out of the desire to help those who want to help themselves. The idea behind creating the common platform of Nashik Run was to involve every willing individual in the societal activities. 2

3 Started in the year 2003, the first Nashik Run was conducted on 11 th January 2003 What started as a Corporate Social Responsibility, has now evolved as Public Social Responsibility.. Every individual contributing towards Nashik Run has been going miles ahead since the past 11 years to help the needy and the under privileged in Nashik Donations Received - lakhs Number of Participants Run few miles for many many smiles... 33

4 Nashik Run Unique about Nashik Run is that the administrative expenses are borne by the Run organizing companies, and the entire funds collected are used for supporting various projects in the areas of water conservation, health, education, promoting sports activities, environment related projects and upliftment of tribals from remote villages. No direct cash is disbursed. The funds collected are directed towards the noble cause. The help is rendered by way of completing the project which restricts drainage and misuse of funds. The success of Nashik Run lies in the generosity of the sponsors, the support systems, the participants and the dedication of the volunteers. By registering for the Run, participants get a Nashik Run T-shirt and can participate in the Run. Nashik Run is an achievement for the Trust and hundreds and thousands of people who have supported this societal activity year after year with great enthusiasm and zeal. 4
