4 Travel Information Walking Strong Trainer Event March 16th - 18th, Flagstaff, Arizona Training Site du Bois Center (ballroom 2nd Floor) - Northern Arizona University Campus Northern Arizona University Building # 64, Phone: (928) E. Pine Knoll Dr. - Flagstaff, AZ Parking on the Northern Arizona University Campus (check their website for updated information) We suggest you arrive 15 minutes early the first day. If NAU parking instructions change, follow the most current information given at the kiosk. Note the following: Government Vehicles If you are driving a government vehicle with government plates, you do not need a permit. Park in any lot but not restricted spaces (i.e. handicapped) and proceed to the du Bois Center. Non-Government Vehicle's If you are driving a non-government vehicle, you need a parking permit. Purchase a multi-day pass to match days of your training at the kiosk. The parking kiosks only accept major credit cards. Pull up to the parking kiosk, select SC for south campus for the days you need a pass. Purchase the pass ($7/day) & properly display in vehicle. Park in the lot 62 or 66 and proceed to the du Bois Center.

5 Meals on Your Own Plan on having lunch at a local restaurant or eating at the dining services buffet (about $10) at the training site. Workout Clothing NAFC teaches through hands on exercise. The movements are fun and many are non strenuous. Plan to participate at your own comfort & safety level. Wear appropriate workout clothing (light jacket for outdoors) & gym shoes. Local Airport Pulliam (airport code FLG) Spring Hill Suites provides shuttle from the airport. LaQuinta Inn does not provide shuttle. Recommended Hotels LaQuinta Inn & Suites (928) S. Beulah Blvd, Flagstaff AZ Rates average $89 - $120 during the training dates and are usually lower the earlier you book them. Request & receive a "Northern Arizona University" Discount of 15% on the above rates. Spring Hill Suites (928) S. Beulah Blvd., Flagstaff, AZ We are working to secure a special rate with Spring Hill Suites and will update this document on our website when confirmed. Hotels are a half mile walk from the training site. After the first morning, those without rides can often share one with attendees driving vehicles from the hotel.
