It is located at 125 E Zeller st in North Liberty, IA and the topic of the day will be Ventilation s role in sustainable building practices. The presenter for this topic will be Doug Steege. Doug is the VP of Marketing and Sales at RenwAire and also is the chair of th e Heat/Energy Recovery Ventilation Committee of the Home Ventilation Institute and has been actively involved in energy efficiency and renewable energy issues since In 1980 he became a partner in the company that today is RenewAire and has largely been the responsibility for pioneering the use of static plate exchanges that passively transfer humidity for building ventilation in North America. We will also be recognizing this year s ASHRAE scholarship winner at this meeting. Hopefully everyone had a nice break over the holidays and is ready and eager to move into the new year. Our first meeting of the new year looks to be an interesting topic and I look forward to spending the evening with the CSI members. We have more great topics lined up for the upcoming months. The ASHRAE Winter Conference and AHR Expo will be in Chicago in a couple weeks (January 25 th - January 28 th ) and don t forget that this year s Chapter s Regional Conference (CRC) will be in Des Moines May 7 th through May 9 th.
