2 Bluebell Arts Project aims: to engage community groups and individuals in wide ranging and high quality, issue based arts provision. Our programs are specifically designed to insure participants achieve a sense of ownership, confidence and a means of fulfilling their true potential. to engage those marginalized and isolated within society; creating opportunities for communities to work together in a safe, creative environment with those of differing religion, age, cultural background, abilities and sexual orientation.

3 Craft Circle Is a stitch/textile based workshop, in this workshop you can make many things, from patchwork quilts to bags and accessories. As well as being creative come along for a nice cup of tea with new found friends! Date: September 2016 June 2017 (join at any time) Time: Thursdays 10.30am 12.30pm Fee: 5.00 keep her knit! Margaret Crabtree facilitates this crochet and knit workshop. You can make garments, home wares and accessories. You will use the latest patterns and yarns sourced from around the world. Everyone welcome! Date: September 2016 June 2017 (join anytime) Time: Tuesdays and Wednesdays 7.00pm 9.00pm Thursdays: 12.30pm 2.30pm Fee: 3 Empowering the Artist In order to fully support the specific professional needs of artists we are offering a number of training and information workshop situations: ASD Awareness, Community workshop facilitation Skills and on-line Product Promotion and marketing. 5 The Wishing Tree Working in partnership with Drink Wise Age Well, we are facilitating sculpture workshops with Enagh Seniors Group. They will use the medium of wood and mosaic to create a Wishing Tree and incorporate positive thoughts, personal wishes and affirmations. On completion, the piece will be situated in Strathfoyle Library and the public will be able to interact with it. Dates: September - October 2016 Location: Strathfoyle Library. Carnival We are delighted to take part in this year s Derry City and Strabane District councils Halloween Parade, entitled: The Derry Lunar Landing and our St. Patrick s Day version of the story of Oisin and Niambhs adventures in Tir na nog. So get involved come to the workshops - this is a brilliant opportunity for the community to show case their talents through dance, costume and prop-building. Everyone welcome! Workshops dates: September October 2016 February March 2017.

6 The Hidden Voice: When a child has autism, the perceived unfairness at home can seem monumental to their siblings (Autism Awareness) Working in partnership with Circle of Support (a local support group for children with ASD and their families), highly skilled and experienced arts practitioners will facilitate music and mixed media art workshops to engage families in a teamwork activity like creating a piece of art. Providing the whole family an opportunity to get out of the home situation; allowing them to learn about each other in ways they may not have experienced before. Dates: January March 2017 Applied Art at the Interface: Working in partnership with The Peace Walls Project we aim to engage men and women from the interface area at Bishop Street and The Fountain estate. Through art we want to shine a light on the positive elements of this community; providing people a safe, neutral environment and the skills and techniques to be creative and express themselves. The Project will include working with ceramics, textiles and fused glass and will culminate in an exhibition of work produced decided upon by the participants e.g. in a public space such as a shopping Centre or on the Peace wall itself. 7 Our Virtual Shared Space: This project is essentially an educational tool to raise Ethnic minority Awareness. With the arrival of Syrian refugees in Derry our aim is to educate children from the city as to why refugees and migrants have to leave their own country and seek refuge elsewhere. We will engage school children through the production of a digital animation piece, from inception through to the finished piece. We hope to share the piece on-line to raise awareness and dispel negative stereo-types from forming. Dates: April June 2017.
