5 2017 NORTH OTTAWA HOSPITAL AUXILIARY ANNUAL GIVING CAMPAIGN The North Ottawa Hospital Auxiliary mission is to support North Ottawa Community Health System with volunteer service as well as assisting with financial donations for needed equipment and programs. Through fund raising events, gift shop sales and private donations, the Auxiliary is able to continue its mission. This past year the North Ottawa Hospital Auxiliary was able to donate to North Ottawa Community Health System the following: $32,000 Final payment to the Pulse Campaign (New Emergency Department) $810 Purchase a bench for the Emergency Department (Nancy Edelmayer Fund) $37,294 Purchased new stretchers for our ambulances In addition, several scholarships are given, through the Grand Haven Area Community Foundation, each year to students pursuing a degree in health care.
