Senior Parents All Night Grad Party (ANGP) News Planning has begun for the 2019 MHS ANGP. It will be held on the night of graduation: Monday, June 3, from 11pm to 5am on Tuesday, June 4.

1 Senior Parents All Night Grad Party (ANGP) News Planning has begun for the 2019 MHS ANGP. It will be held on the night of graduation: Monday, June 3, from 11pm to 5am on Tuesday, June 4. This successful event provides a safe, funfilled way for our seniors to celebrate their graduation. Senior Parents, order your senior s ticket using the attached twopage ANGP Ticket Form. We NEED YOUR HELP! Whether you are the parent of a freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior, we need your help make the 2019 celebration a success! Please send in the volunteer form or contact the ANGP cochairs: Margarita Collantes or Lisa Haas at ANGP@mcleanptsa.org. Here are our subcommittees and just a few ways you might volunteer to help plan and organize events or help during the actual event: ACTIVITIES: Organize the games and events during the party. / TREASURER: Manage the ANGP funds with the PTSA. / VOLUNTEERS: Recruit/manage volunteers. / DECORATING: Turn the ANGP into the perfect party palace including a Luau, Casino, Entertainment Center, Spa and much much more/ FUNDRAISING: Use your marketing skills to help us solicit funds. Donate or help find that perfect raffle item. / PRIZES & GIFTS: Solicit merchandise donations large and smallfor redemption prizes, gift bags, and door prizes. Help store and organize all the gifts once they are collected. / PUBLICITY: Make flyers, ads, and web postings. /TICKETS: Track and sell tickets. / REFRESHMENTS: Get donations of food and drink to help feed the partygoers. Be a server or roving waiter at the event itself. / SECURITY: Coordinate event security and fire marshal info. / CLEANUP: Take down, store and/or return items, and disburse leftover food at the end of the party. In addition, the ANGP committee is selling the 2019 White House Ornaments. MHS ANGP is made possible by the generous support of local businesses and parents. This event is not funded by senior class dues or the school. It is completely funded by donations. Please help keep our kids safe as they celebrate by purchasing this year s White House ornament and we earn $7 for each ornament sold! Order yours today and share with your friends and neighbors so they can support ANGP as well! Questions? angp@mcleanptsa.org PARENTAL CONSENT & ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF RISK I acknowledge that my child s participation in the AllNight Graduation Party (ANGP) is voluntary, involves public property, thirdparty vendors and activities. I understand that the event may be held at a public park facility and that the event's scheduled activities may include the use of a swimming pool. I have had the opportunity to understand the purpose of the ANGP, and its various activities (including the use of inflatable structures), which may involve physical activities and risk of injury. I agree by signing below and/or participating in the ANGP to assume any and all risks and thereby hold FCPS, the MHS PTSA ANGP Committee, any parent volunteers, and any vendors harmless and release them from any and all claims, causes of action, or damages whatsoever arising from any accident, injury, or property damage related to or resulting from participation in the ANGP. I have had an opportunity to have all my questions concerning the All Night Graduation Party answered to my satisfaction. I also give permission for photographs to be taken of my child during ANGP. ANGP Attendance Rules: Must be a member of MHS Class of Photo ID required for admittance to party. Admission to ANGP will be between 11:00 pm12:00 am. No one will be admitted after midnight. If you have a ticket but do not check in by midnight, we will call your parent/guardian. If you leave ANGP before 5:00 am, you may not return, and we will call your parent/guardian to let them know you are no longer celebrating with us. No money will be needed, everything is included in the ticket price, including food and drinks. If you are suspected of being under the influence of alcohol or drugs at any time during the party, you will be referred to the MHS 2019 ANGP Committee CoChairs and Officer on Duty for evaluation and action. We will call your parent/guardian and may ask them to take you home. ANGP will end at 5:00 am. Parent/guardian and student acknowledge that they have read the above consent form and understand its contents. We also have read, understand, and will abide by the rules as stated above.
