2 Our Mission: To improve the lives and health of children and adults in the Greater Miami Valley with special physical, cognitive, social, and psychological needs through Equine Assisted Activities and Therapies (EAAT). Our Goals: To provide horseback riding experiences that benefit the students through physical activity, mental stimulations, peer relationships, and extended communication opportunities. To offer classes at affordable prices with sufficient scholarship opportunities. To meet and surpass PATH International Standards. To continue development of programming for At Risk Youth and Horses Assisting Heroes for Veterans. Our Lessons: Group Lessons - We offer class sessions that run for 5-7 weeks (spring, summer, fall) with 45 minute group lessons of 2-3 students per day Monday Thursday, and lessons on Saturday morning. Watch for new 2013 class schedule. Private Lessons - We make available 30 minute private lessons for riders who desire or require more individualized attention.

Mo enjoyed riding Patches and again his confidence got a BIG Boost! I could truly understand how he was processing the flow of events when at the end of the awards ceremony he rushed to get his picture taken and he smiled and made eye contact! These actions, seemly insignificant for many, are tremendous accomplishments for Mo. Lezley Pisone, parent We re moving in 2013 to FineLine Stables! Thank you for the past 40 years to all farm locations who housed TRI!! Facility: The Therapeutic Riding Institute, Inc. is pleased to announce FineLine Stables in Springboro as our new home in FineLine Stables, founded by Mary Kay Zimmerly in 2012, is situated on 30 acres and features a 40 stall barn with 2 indoor arenas. Mary Kay and her team, have pledged support of the TRI mission and are focused on helping us as we work together to build and expand our programming, as well as hers. We look forward to building the regions premier riding center for people of all abilities.

4 Therapeutic Riding Institute, Inc. TRI Governance Our Board of Directors Kathy Corbett, Chair Jeanette Dehus Terri Glenn Jason Johns Chris Koogler Linda Lightcap Heidi McKenna Judy Young Marleen Milkis, Executive Director Advisory Team Rita Cyr, CEO, RMHC Dr. & Mrs. David Novick Lezley Pisone, Development, Muse Machine David A. Saettel, CPA The Board of Directors reflects upon the past 40 years and looks forward to the challenges ahead. Exciting, progressive change is happening within TRI. New leadership has occurred with the 2012 addition of Marleen Milkis as Executive Director. She comes from some well-respected national nonprofit organizations. Her goal is to bring internal structural change and best practices to the TRI program. Marleen began with Board Training in nonprofit governance. A new organizational structure was adopted as a result. We are currently searching for new Board Members from the Dayton business community and from within the TRI family. By bringing diversity of leadership, the organization can grow and accomplish more for those we serve. We would be happy to meet with anyone interested in serving on a TRI committee, or the Board of Directors, to help our organization thrive and grow. Kathy Corbett, Chair
