2 Course Description: This course is designed to be an educational update and review of several sports medicine topics. The attendees will find the course to have valuable current medical information to help the medical professional better treat athletes and orthopedic patients. The lectures will provide an opportunity for panel discussions to discuss current medical topics in sports medicine. The course will also offer attendees a hands on opportunity to enhance their clinical skills with various breakout sessions. Discuss current management of various medical emergency topics in sports medicine 2. Outline current management of shoulder injuries and new surgical techniques 3. Discuss current upper extremity rehabilitation techniques 4. Define current management and treatment of sports concussions 5. 3 Accreditation Information: Cleveland Clinic Sports Health (BOC AP#: P410) is approved by the Board of Certification, Inc., to provide continuing education to s. This program is eligible for a maximum of 9 Category A hours/ceus. ATs should claim only those hours actually spent in the educational program. Registration fee for ATC-PT course ONLY - $50 per attendee Registration fee for ATC-PT course AND the BLS course - $110 per attendee BLS course paid attendees will be provide a website and access code to complete 2 hours on online training.
