In particular, two aspcts of similarity wr xamind: surfac aspct and innr aspct. Th qustionnair was administrd to 216 participants. Thy fırst rad a dscription of th fıctional charactr, and thn valuatd th dgr of thir prcivd similarity with th fıctional charactr, thir intrprsonal attraction to it, and thir lvl of xpctd slf-disclosur toward it. Th rsults showd that a surfac similarity had positiv influncs on th participants innr slf-disclosur, as wll as th trustworthinss and attractivnss of th fıctional charactr; binnr similarity had positiv influncs on th trustworthinss and attractivnss of th fıctional charactr; csurfac and innr similarity had positiv influncs on surfac and innr slf-disclosur to th fıctional charactr, which was mdiatd by th trustworthinss of th fıctional charactr; and, dsurfac and innr similarity had positiv influncs on surfac slf-disclosur to th fıctional charactr, which was mdiatd by thir attractivnss. In th prsnt study, th influncs of prcivd similarity diffrd according to th aformntiond aspcts. Th rsults suggst that, in counsling, promoting th clint s prcption of surfac similarity may nhanc thir slf-disclosur.
