PICCART, Chef du Service de Médecine Centre des Tumeurs de l Université Libre de Bruxelles Tél. : +32 (0) / +32 (0) Fax : +32 (0) martine.piccart@bordet.be Brussels, July 4, 2017 FIRST ANNOUNCEMENT Dear Colleagues, We are pleased to invite you to an Oncoimmunology course on October 5-6, 2017 organized by the entitled: 3rd Human Cancer Immunology Course for Oncologists and Scientists A course for Clinicians and Investigators The intended audience is health care professionals including physicians trained as medical oncologists, pathologists, radiation oncologists, surgeons and scientists active in cancer research who wish to update their knowledge on the fundamentals of immunology and/or current trends in immunotherapy. This course will take place over 1.5 days (a detailed program is attached) beginning with a short refresher course designed for physicians and scientists needing to review their basic knowledge in immunology and how the immune system is subjugated by cancer. This will be followed by a series of talks covering recent advances and developments in cancer immunotherapy, presented by invited speakers who are experts in their field. The course is designed to review the principles and provide an update of current knowledge on various immunotherapeutic approaches and their clinical consequences. This course will be held at the Hotel Pullman Brussels Centre Midi (Place Victor Horta 1, 1060 Brussels) and space is limited to 200 places (first to register).
