Officers met with the property owner, who stated a repairman was there to repair a wall in the apartment, and he had set off the alarm. Officer spoke to the tenant, who stated the subject had permission to be there. The tenant was able to deactivate the alarm remotely. Officer arrived on scene and located the vehicle. The driver stated that the vehicle overheated and needed coolant. Officer provided a courtesy ride to the subject to Mobil at Route 176 and Route 43 and returned the driver to the vehicle. The driver was able to remove the vehicle from the roadway after adding coolant no longer causing a hazard and officer cleared. Upon arrival Officer met with a company hired to cleaning the ventilation system. No irregularities observed. Officers arrived on scene with the Knollwood Fire Department and Lake Forest Ambulance 421 who provided a lift assist. Upon arrival officer spoke to the homeowner and determined the call came from a fax machine, and that there were no problems. CFS#: 864 Time: 10/16/ :44 CFS Type: Citizen Assist Rpt.Req.: No Narrative Time: 10/16/ :30 Narrative: Officer responded to the block of North Environ Circle to meet with a resident reference possible damage to outdoor plumbing. Upon arrival, officer met with the complainant who stated she thought someone had damaged her sump pump piping on the outside of the residence by moving it to the side. The complainant had moved the pipes back to their original location. Officer saw no indication of damage. Officer advised the complainant to call a plumber if water starts to enter the house, and the PD if the pipes are moved again. No further police assistance was needed. 6 Narrative Time: 10/16/ :01 Narrative: Officer responded to the area of eastbound route 176 at Green Bay Road for a check on well being for a male subject in a blue shirt, holding an umbrella. Officer was unable to locate the subject. CFS#: 940 Time: 10/16/ :43 CFS Type: Driving Complaint Rpt.Req.: No Narrative Time: 10/16/ :50 Narrative: Officer responded to s/b Waukegan Rd from Rt 176 for the report of a Nissan Maxima with no rear registration driving recklessly. Officer checked the surrounding area and was unable to locate the vehicle. CFS#: 954 Time: 10/16/ :46 CFS Type: Assist Fire Department Rpt.Req.: No Narrative Time: 10/16/ :24 Narrative: Officer responded to the block of East Center Avenue for an activated fire alarm from a pull station. The Lake Bluff Fire Department, Lake Forest Fire Department, and the Knollwood Fire Department responded as well. Lake Forest and Knollwood Fire Departments were called off prior to their arrival. The LBFD determined it was an accidental pull and found no signs of a fire. Officers checked the exterior and interior of the house and found no irregularities. CFS#: 26 Time: 10/17/ :27 CFS Type: Citizen Assist Rpt.Req.: Yes Narrative Time: 10/17/ :28 Narrative: Officers responded to the 500 block of Rockland Avenue and met with Lake Forest Officers who had located a female subject at their train station and provided her with a ride to that address. CFS#: 43 Time: 10/17/ :03 CFS Type: Accident - Non Injury Rpt.Req.: No Narrative Time: 10/17/ :00 Narrative: Officers responded to southbound Route 41 at Route 176 for a two vehicle accident with unknown injuries. Officers determined the accident occurred in Lake County Sheriff's Office jurisdiction and notification to respond was made. Knollwood Fire Department and Lake Forest Ambulance 421 responded and one subject was transported to Lake Forest Hospital. The scene was turned over to LCSO and officers stood by for traffic control until no further assistance was needed. The complainant stated that he observed a possible homeless male laying on the ground. Officers arrived on scene and located the subject. The subject stated that he was fine and was in no need of assistance. Officers noted no irregularities and cleared. CFS#: 233 Time: 10/18/ :09 CFS Type: Well Being Check Rpt.Req.: No Narrative Time: 10/18/ :07 Narrative: Officers responded to the area of Green Bay Road at Signe Court for a well being check. The complainant stated that 2 subjects were walking in the street wearing dark clothing. Officers checked the area and were unable to locate the subjects and cleared. CFS#: 236 Time: 10/18/ :28 CFS Type: Traffic Arrest Rpt.Req.: Yes Narrative Time: 10/18/ :05 Narrative: Officer conducted a traffic stop on Route 41 at the Full Moon Restaurant for improper lane usage on a vehicle matching the description of a vehicle that struck a gaurdrail and left the scene at Route 41 north bound at Deerpath Road. The driver was arrested for driving on a suspended drivers license and possession of drug paraphernalia. CFS#: 266 Time: 10/18/ :14 CFS Type: Criminal Damage Rpt.Req.: Yes Narrative Time: 10/18/ :14 Narrative: Officers responded to the 500 block of Thorn Valley Lane for a report of criminal damage to property. Officer spoke with the resident on location who advised the mailbox located along the roadway was damaged sometime from late afternoon on 10/17/14 to the morning of 10/18/14. CFS#: 270 Time: 10/18/ :17 CFS Type: Alarm Rpt.Req.: No Narrative Time: 10/18/ :37 Narrative: Officer responded to the block of Inverness Court and verified that an activated burglar alarm was accidental by the home owner. Complainant brought in a vehicle key/remote on a blue ring. The complainant advised he located the item along East Blodgett Avenue. A subject, approached an officer at the Pumpkin Fest earlier today to advise that she lost a set of keys that matched this description. A message was left for her to contact this department. The keys were logged into the found property book.
