She and I became immediate and lifelong friends. We laughed a great deal at the antics of our principal and chatted often of the trials and tribulations of educators. Above all else she was the consumate professional in actions, dress, behavior, and methodology. She along with Margaret Watson and Dr. Blanton made, for me at least, a wonderful group of educators. JEFF & VERONICA THOMAS, JANUARY 1, 2010 It is hard to believe that I won't see Susan in our aerobics class, to see her smile and say hello, to visit and catch up with every day events in our lives. She and her family bring a love and warmth to those around them. We enjoyed making baskets together with others and later to try out making cards and "stamping" together. We learned that the "marijuana plant" in her back yard turned out to be Texas Star althea bush. I will always remember her and pray for her and the family. JACKIE OSWALD, JANUARY 1, 2010 I jazzercised together with Susan and Carol. They always have smiles. They are very close as sisters and they teased each other often. I met Carol and Susan for coffee, Susan had big smiles and happiness, she introduced the basket class she and Carol learned. How often do we get to laugh and talk in this busy life at this age? I think Susan and Carol bring joy to us everyday. MEDINA WONG, JANUARY 1, 2010 Susan was a kind, caring and sensitive person, and I'm glad to have known and have her in my life.
