2 EBMT International WELCOME It is our pleasure to welcome you to the third EBMT International Transplant course (EBMT-ITC). This high-level educational activity aims to disseminate knowledge, and provide the audience with the latest advances the field of stem cell transplantation and cellular therapy. The organizing committee has worked hard in order to define a cutting-edge programme which tackles the hottest topics in the field, while allowing enough room for direct contribution from the most junior colleagues, through numerous case reports which will follow each seminal lecture. The EBMT aims to establish a comprehensive educational platform and to provide physicians and all interested healthcare professionals with a high level of training in the field of stem cell transplantation and cellular therapy which is in line with our commitment towards delivering state of the art care for our patients.
