4 May 8, 2015 World Dental Federation FDI Dear Members of FDI It is an honor for me to write this letter and know that is going to be read by you, people who have transcended and communicated what they do best, and have put their successful experience to serve FDI. This time, it's my opportunity to express what are the reasons why I also want to be in the FDI ranks, and from the same trench, accomplish the mission of the FDI: " To be the worldwide, authoritative and independent voice of the dental profession If the word voice appears in the mission statement of the FDI its maybe because is only through communication that we can overcome the limits of our countries, of our culture, our education and become unified in a single voice, a single cause. Passionate about communication, with enthusiasm, I have undertaken in my country, various projects such as Radio Programs, Dentistry Magazine, study clubs, conferences and promptly online TV cannel. I feel today ready to plant this seed of experience, passion and knowledge in FDI in The Communications and Member Support Committee. With this letter I want to officially submit my nomination. I am identifed with the mission of FDI and the hard work of the Communications and Member Support Committee. Communication is today a challenge for any organization. The communication channels have changed with the generations and will continue to vary according to the technological, economic and social trends, and this is then where the challenge comes to us : To hold together our voice on issues that determine and define our profession, listening trends and communicate them properly to handle this information until it gathers enough strength that can be an agent of positive change in dentistry. I would like to have the oportunity to give all my energy in effective communication, team leadership, Marketing and Customer Service to defend the passion that we share, where everyone puts their talents to the service of others, with the only satisfaction that gives the work when you love what you do.
