6 Harvest Party Draws Members Together There s a great benefit from attending one of our Peer Support Centers, and that is being an active part of a Community. Most of us find it difficult to find and experience (at least consistently) community life. Webster s simple definition of community is, a unified body of individuals. The key word here is unified. Webster goes on to say, a group of people with a common characteristic or interest living together within a larger society. Indeed, that s what our Peer Centers cultivate, the environment that affirms you as part of a group of caring people that are doing life together with a shared common interest and purpose. Recently our members from both Derry and Manchester gathered together to celebrate a Halloween/Harvest Party. Lot s of fun! Members from both Derry and Manchester together in our new site in Manchester. Food, games, and lot s of connections. Leeann - OTRTW s cheerleader leading in one of our games. Onsite Review - Members Encouraged to be Present Hey OTRTW Members! Your attendance at both our Peer Centers is encouraged on Thursday, November 15th as the folks who fund OTRTW to provide Intentional Peer Support Services will be onsite to review our operations. Part of that review is meeting with and talking to our Members. We hope that you will make a strong effort to be at the Center of your choice on this day to share candidly with these individuals your experiences at OTRTW. The result will help OTRTW provide IPS Services at it s best. See you then!
