Dr. Zirwas will answer your questions from beginning to end - from your approach to the first visit with a new patient with dermatitis (What kind of dermatitis is it? Should I patch test them? Will steroids mess it up if I patch test them?), to how to do the patch testing (Where do I get the materials? How do I pick the allergens? How do I get that much tape to stick? I heard patch testing is illegal because the allergens aren't FDA approved?), to educating patients about allergens you've never heard of (cocamidopro... huh?), to what to do when the patch test is all negative. Included in the session will be the opportunity to actually work with the patch test materials and learn how to put them on patients.
