2 Believe in yourself and you are halfway Support the Center for Courageous Kids (CCK) The Center for Courageous Kids (CCK) has an ongoing need for quilts and pillowcases! Support CCK by bringing finished quilts and pillowcases to the 2017 KEHA State Mee ng. Quilt Details: Twin sized 65 x90 (allows for overhang on sides and foot) No fabric restric ons (just durable and washable) Bright colors and pa erns are loved Pillowcase Details: there. Standard size Colors (bold and pastel) Theodore Roosevelt Co on (washable) Please pen a notecard with the name, county and address of the donor to each quilt. Thank you for suppor ng CCK and making KEHA proud! January is National Get Organized Month Roll Call: What is your New Year s Resolu on and how do you plan on accomplishing it? The ac on of ge ng organized is the process of organizing by pu ng the different parts of something in a certain order so that they can be found or used easily. Stay on top of your paperwork, use storage bins, check lists, and to do lists. January/February Class Info Leitchfield: January 24, 5pm Caneyville: February 9, 4pm Clarkson: February 16, 5pm We will be talking about reusing what we have in our homes to reduce what we send to landfills! The hands on ac vity will include working with old pictures frames! This class is FREE and open to the public. Class size is limited. DEADLINE TO REGISTER: 1 week before each class Par cipants will need to bring a 4x6 (or smaller) picture frame, light weight. Don t bring an an que or something with sen mental value. February Lesson Leader Training Dayna Parre, Hardin County FCS Agent, will be talking about Varying Your Fruits and Veggies with Exo c Choices on Tuesday, January 24, 1:30pm at the Grayson County Extension Office. Do you ever see fruits and vegetables in the grocery store that you don t know how to prepare or serve? Such as how do you eat a star fruit? Prepare kohlrabi? Learn about varying your fruits and veggies with all the op ons in the store or at farmer s markets. Annual Luncheon and Silent Auction March 31, 2017 Mark Your Calendars!!
