Members are invited to bring one or two of their works for Robyns input. (There will be no Members Choice display.) SSAS ART at MENAI MARKETPLACE 2015 Our Art Show at Menai Marketplace will be held from to March inclusive. Although this seems a way off, Jan Porter (who has offered to take over as Show Manager) is going away and wont be back till late December. She therefore needs to organise before she leaves. An Expression on Intention to Exhibit is attached and she would very much appreciate if you could return these to her by 30 September.

2 VALE Jacqui Creswick: Jacqi Creswick passed away early in August. Jacqui was a valued member who actively supported our society. Our condolences go to her family, especially her daughter Anne Croker who is also one of our members. ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING: The Annual General Meeting was held on 3 September, There were no contested positions. Thank you to those who have offered to be on the Committee or volunteer for other positions. The names of the new Committee and volunteers are listed at the beginning of this Newsletter. NEWSLETTER: I have agreed to edit the Newsletter. However, responsibility for organising the content for the Newsletter, including photos, and forwarding it to me will remain the responsibility of the new Committee. Even if you are not on the Committee you are encouraged to become actively involved by offering to assist in this task by, for example, taking photos or writing reports of demonstrations or workshops. I would also welcome any other contributions or ideas (either on a regular or occasional basis), no matter how small, that you feel may interest members. Items, including photos, for the Newsletter can be ed directly to me: mcnsocial@hotmail.com Items (including photos) that are hard copies should be sent to the Secretary so that they can be put into a format I can easily edit - they will then be ed to me. I will not directly accept hard copy of items for the Newsletter. Items for the last Newsletter for this year should be received by me no later than 15 October. DEMONSTRATION: There was no monthly meeting in July. A full report on a most interesting and informative demonstration by Leanne Jones at our August meeting will be included in our next newsletter.
