2 Welcome! Introductions and thank you to the Drury and Taziki s Mission: The mission of Habitat for Humanity of Williamson-Maury Counties (HFHWM) is to put God's love into action by partnering with communities to build affordable housing, there inspiring hope and creating life-changing stability through homeownership. We build affordable homes and sell them at cost and no interest to hardworking families here in Williamson and Maury Counties. Need: In January 2017, Williamson County s single family median home price was $445,600. For many working individuals in our community like teachers, healthcare workers, city/county employees, and those in the service-sector, homeownership is not possible without Habitat.

3 Habitat Misconceptions We do not give the homes away. We do not receive funding from Habitat for Humanity International. Each Habitat affiliate is self-sustaining. We are needed here in Williamson County. For many working individuals like teachers, healthcare workers, city/county employees, and those in the service-sector, homeownership is not possible without Habitat. There are thousands of families in this County that would qualify to become Habitat homeowners. We are affordable and workforce housing not low-income housing. Families must meet salary requirements and work in our community.

4 Women Build Women Build is Habitat for Humanity's tool for women to learn construction skills, build homes, and communities. The program brings together women from all walks of life to address the housing crisis facing millions of women and children worldwide Open to all skill levels Men are welcome! 5 National Women Build Week National Women Build Week is May 6-14 Challenges women to devote at least one day to building simple, decent and affordable housing in their local communities. We were chosen as one of 300 HFH affiliates to host a Women Build More than 98,000 women from all 50 states have previously volunteered
