3 We cordially invite you to the 22nd ESCV Annual Meeting Dear Colleagues and Friends, We are delighted to invite you to the 22nd Annual meeting of the European Society for Clinical Virology (ESCV), which will be held in Copenhagen, Denmark, September The steady growth in importance and popularity of the ESCV annual meeting has made it our mission to increase the excellence of this congress. To achieve this goal, the scientific program committee is preparing a series of keynote lectures, symposia, workshops and poster sessions, covering all aspects of the exciting field of clinical virology. The organisers aim to provide a forum for fruitful and inspiring scientific discussions and networking opportunities for all participants, irrespective of which phase in their education or career they are currently in. Copenhagen provides a vibrant and exciting backdrop to this meeting. It is an ideal congress city, known to be a safe, eco-friendly and cosy capital city. It has extensive green areas and has just been named best city in the world for swimming. The distance from the congress venue, DGI-Byen, to the city centre is within walking distance.
