4 About Us We are the Greater Lawrence Chamber of Commerce, Inc., a business membership organization nearing 300 business members throughout Lawrence Township, and surrounding communities. Lawrence Township surrounds the City of Lawrence in the northeast corner of Marion County, Indiana. An elected Board of Directors governs the Chamber and a professional staff is responsible for the development and implementation of the management, policies and day-to-day operations. The organizational purpose of the Chamber is to promote, advance, and stimulate civic, business, commercial, agricultural and industrial interests and general welfare in the City of Lawrence and surrounding territory, also known as the Greater Lawrence Township Area of Marion County, Indiana, and to stimulate public opinion and reaction to these ends by providing such information and public programs as will foster and encourage these purposes. 5 For Members Only Member Portal The Greater Lawrence Chamber of Commerce website offers a Member Portal just for members. This is available by clicking on Member Login via our landing page. You must be listed as a representative of your company to be able create login credentials. If you need help with setting up a representative, please call the GLC office for assistance. Use the Shortcuts in the Member Portal to: Update your Personal Information Make changes to your personal information: add personal social media accounts, your picture, change your username and password, etc. Update your Company Information Make changes to your company information, add company representatives, add social media content; which will all reflect in the GLC Business Directory. Pay Your Bills Pay any outstanding invoices for membership or Chamber events. Submit an Event Post your company s events on the Community Calendar for all to see. Once submitted, your event will be posted after internal review. View Analytical Reports View your company s data and review your membership visibility in the last 12 months. News Submit your own press releases and news to be published under What s New on our website landing page. Share details about your business s awards and recognition, staff promotions, new employees and board members, and more! Post job openings Post Hot Deals to share with other members; which are special discounts Show you're Proud to be a chamber member. Enhance your company s community presence and support by posting the chamber member logo on your website. Find your own Membership Badge under the Company Information under Membership Badge. Upgrade your membership to the next level. Receive additional promotional elements to gain visibility for your business by moving up to the next membership level.
