3 1 st Annual Fall Fair & Artisan Market Saturday, October 24 th, pm Canal Flats Community Center Come on out for a fun filled family afternoon. We are planning many different activities for the whole family. There will be games, crafts, face & hair painting, apple bobbing, cookie/cupcake decorating, candy guess. We will also be hosting a Scavenger Hunt so get your game face on and you will be looking high & low all around town! Scarecrow contest make a one-of-a-kind scarecrow, bring it to display at the community center and the public will be judging for the best one. Be creative. Cash prizes range from $75.00-$25.00 for this event. Pie baking Contest- make your favourite pie (any type) - must be homemade and bring it on over for your chance to be the blue ribbon winner! We also have a special event just for the adults an Obstacle course designed for fun and challenges- prizes awarded for best time in each event. Bring your carved or decorated pumpkin for all to admire to the hall for judging prizes awarded. House decorating Contest all of you talented folks who love to get in the Halloween Spirit of decorating your yards, have it done up by Friday, October 23 rd, we will have judges driving around to see who has the best decorated yard Prizes will be awarded for this on Saturday at the fair! Challenge your friends and neighbors to take part! There will also be hot dogs, chips etc. for sale at the hall kitchen. We have many vendors coming to showcase and sell their wares- maybe a chance for some early Christmas shopping. 3
