1 Dear Friend of Dress for Success Cleveland: Thank you for supporting Dress for Success Cleveland! We are so thrilled to work with your corporation/company to enhance the lives of the women we serve! Donation Drives support all of our programs, which means your support will impact women. We are delighted that you thought of Dress for Success Cleveland. Please keep in mind that conducting both a monetary and product donation drive allows both men and women to support our mission. As well as monetary donations help us to secure specific sizes we may still lack even after receiving your fabulous clothing collections. Sixty-five percent of the women we dress wear sizes 16 and up, and most of our donations are sizes 14 and below. In addition, please remember that accessories help to complete the head to toe look we provide each woman who comes through our doors. Please find enclosed the necessary information you need in order to hold a successful donation drive. Please return the enclosed Donation Drive confirmation before commencing your drive Please distribute the information to individuals who want to participate in your drive. You will also find a donor information sheet that we ask each donor to complete with their donation in order to receive a tax receipt. In addition for monetary contributions, please have financial donors sign our Helping Hand Black Dress that will be mounted at our facility to show the community for our clients and of our mission. Your support is a vital component of our continued success, serving low-income women who are breaking out of the confines of poverty and moving steadily towards self-sufficiency. 4 DONATIONS GUIDELINES ITEMS TO DONATE: We accept up to date, new and gently worn women's clothing for work, financial donations, and equipment. Interview and work appropriate clothing and accessories such as: Business suits, blouses, slacks, and skirts Purses, Jewelry, Scarves, and unused Hosiery Business and interview appropriate shoes and boots Khaki pants and solid colored polo shirts free from branding Medical Scrubs and shoes Work boots and work gloves Coats Toiletries and hair supplies (unused) DONATION CONSIDERATIONS: Donations must be delivered in a cleaned, organized and contained manner: on hangers, contained in bags and preferably dry cleaned and/or laundered. Our external partners are extending their facility space to enhance our service and to be convenient for our donors all while operating their regular businesses. We appreciate your patience should you have to wait a moment when you bring in your items to one of our sites.
