4 FT CHILDREN S CLINICAL COORDINATOR SLC We have a unique supervisory position open for an experienced clinician in early childhood trauma and therapy for high-risk children, 0-8 years! House of Hope, a nonprofit since 1946, is seeking a new leader for its children s services program, the Hope Center for Children (HCC), a program to help young children who have experienced trauma, abuse, neglect and the negative impacts of maternal substance use disorders. The HCC provides day treatment, individual and family therapy for children (ages 0-8) at a time. Many of the children live in one of our four residential facilities. This is an ideal job for a clinician who enjoys working with a team to coordinate care for high-risk families in the non-profit sector and who has a passion for providing and supervising traumainformed care for young children. Primary Duties Include: -Supervising a team of 12 staff including therapists, case managers, family specialists, interns and child group specialists. -Clinical responsibility for all treatment services for children whose mothers receive treatment at the House of Hope. -Ensure that services are best practice, evidence-based care for young children with multiple risk factors. -Providing and supervising others who provide play therapy, trauma work, filial therapy, and other therapeutic practices for children. -Supervising documentation, record keeping and contract compliance -Training of all staff on children s mental health issues and parenting/attachment issues with high-risk families -Liaison for DCFS and Family Dependency Drug Court in the legal process of family reunification as needed -Minimal on-call responsibilities to provide consultation by phone or in person for emergencies (generally less than 4 hrs. month). -Represent House of Hope in collaboration with many community organizations and allied agencies -Other duties associated with ensuring children and families receive quality care while at House of Hope. Job Requirements: -Master s Degree from an accredited university and be licensed in the State of Utah as an LCSW or LCMHC. -Worked minimum of 2 years after obtaining a Utah LCSW license and meet the requirements to clinical supervise staff. -Must have 3+ years of experience in mental health treatment of children or trauma informed therapy for early childhood. -Must have 3+ years of experience in a supervisory capacity including training, scheduling and coaching team of staff Salary: $48-58K, DOE, with full benefits package including health insurance, dental, 2x salary life insurance, 30+ days off a year for holidays, vacation, sick; licensure renewal fees paid, paid training, 401(k) dollar for dollar match up to 5% after one year with vesting schedule, employee recognition and other incentives are available. 9 FT ADMISSIONS ASSISTANT SLC The Admissions Assistant assists the Admissions Coordinator with intake at our non-profit women s and children s treatment program for substance use disorders. See if these primary duties match your interests and experience: -Handling a high volume of calls regarding admissions. -Answering basic questions about the program. -Identifying basic needs and eligibility for services. -Making appropriate referrals to facilitate services. -Conducting urinalysis testing services for new clients. -Assisting Admissions Coordinator with residential and outpatient admissions. -Entering data into a clinical management and billing system. -Maintaining and tracking admissions information. -Working with outside agencies to determine eligibility for public assistance programs. -Assisting with various other duties and special projects on an as-needed basis. We are looking for someone who: -Due to the nature of this position, we may only consider female candidates. -Must have excellent spelling, grammar, and verbal communication skills as well as professional telephone and communication. -Must be able to manage multiple projects with attention to detail. -Must display effective organizational skills. -Must be friendly as well as professional. 10 PT CLIENT SERVICES ASST./TRANSPORTER SLC We re looking for a few good staff who are looking for a flexible position during the day M-F to assist women who live at a House of Hope facility to get to their medical appointments, court dates and other community resources. This staff has the privilege of working face-to-face with women who are new in recovery and actually gets to know the challenges of our mothers as they try to improve their lives for themselves and their children. This is a great opportunity for those seeking experience working with women, families, and non-profit organizations in the human services sector. Job Requirements: -Responsible for transporting women individually or in small groups to various appointments and help get their needs met at various community programs in the community. -Must be confident and good at making others feel heard, respected and open to feedback -Must be willing to drive own vehicle (with mileage reimbursement) or agency vans, have a current Utah driver s license and a good driving record. -Have excellent communication skills, problem solving ability and able to be respectfully assertive as needed. -Must be able to climb stairs and lift pounds on occasion, if needed. -Must be reliable with assigned hours and have a strong understanding of professional ethics and boundaries. -On-going training and supervision provided. Other responsibilities include completing program errands, keeping records, using basic computer programs, and completing other special projects as needed to assist the program. We are looking for someone who: -Has a license in good standing in Utah as an LCSW, MFT, or LCMHC. -Will consider CSW, ACMHC, or AMFT licenses with experience. -Is able to communicate effectively and professionally in person and in writing, -Is adept at utilizing standard computer programs and basic documentation processes. -Has experience in substance use disorders, co-occurring disorders, and trauma informed mental health care -Is comfortable working with women who have experienced trauma and may be in distress. -Will do 50-60% direct care per week in group and individual treatment sessions. -Most importantly, has a passion for working on a collaborative team to help women in recovery.
