"Our club members wili help at a weekend ministry for under privileged children at Pleasant Grove M.B. Church, Ellisville, MS." BSU: Describe your organization's plan for compieting one service project that will enhance the university: "Priority Lunch, Community Missions" "Hubserve, Apartment Ministries and more." Carev-Jitsu: "We will keep Carey green by picking up trash around the campus" "We will go to various churches in the community and serve." Carev Scholars Program: "We may create a project that is fitting for an academic organization or aid in an existing project." "We hope to continue our MCT tutoring on a yearly basis at Lillie Burney. We may even add some more exciting projects to the list." Cobbler:

4 " As these memberships are new requirements, the editorial / advisory staff of both publications will meet with membership to discuss options for these projects." Delta Omicron: "Assist the Mississippi Baptist Convention with All State auditions." " Serve as runners for the HymnFest at Carterville Baptist Church." PCA: "We will have activities that allow people to have fun and grow spiritually at the same time." "We will give clothes, food, necessities, etc. to foundations reaching out to homeless and needy." Gamma Chi: "Our potential new members will have to participate in a correspondence project. They will have to send handwritten notes to a prospective new female student. Names and addresses will be provided by admissions. The prospective new members should strive to write five notes per week. This will help to recruit new students to the university." " Gamma Chi participate in the Heart Walk and Operations Christmas Child." ISO: "The ISO will organize a service project in the winter trimester." "The ISO will serve the community of Hattiesburg by volunteering to assist in after school programs across the city. This will be organized in the winter trimester." Kappa tau Xi:

5 "We will pick up trash around campus to help keep it clean." "We are looking for to helping with the Hattiesburg Zoo and Habitat for Hummanity." The Music Council: "Several Music events on campus, recitals and receptions for students." "Plan and perform community concerts, and some members are part of the Carey Chorale which a tour is planned at end of each year." Music Educator National Conference: "Assist in the MMTA Piano Competition." "Provide music for off campus organizations during the Christmas season." Omicron Delta Kappa: "We would like to collaborate with other campus organizations in a campus service project." " Intends to work wither with Habitat for Hummanity or participate in the annual Heart Walk next year. The organization wili make its final plans during its first meeting of the Academic Year." Phi Delta kappa International chapter 75: "Young Authors Celebration." "Young Activities Celebration, Operations Christmas Sleeve, Overseas Children's Ministries."

6 Pi Gamma Mu: Nothing Pi Omega: "Host a bake auction every fall and the money raised goes towards a certain charity. With each donation we assert that the donations is form William Carey through Pi Omega." "Participate in Relay for Life. Through this project we promote cancer awareness and encourage donations toward finding a cure for cancer. The event itself takes place at USM, and we have a tent representing our sorority and university and walk as a symbol of dedication to the cause." Pine belt reading council: "Each year we collect used books to donate. Last year we collected from our educations students for soldiers in Iraq. This year we are collecting for the apartments in the area." "Same as above." Serampore Players: "We will continue to produce three productions a year in association with the theatre program. We also plan to host two on campus readings each year to pay tribute to selected famous dramatic writers." "We plan to work with the Hattiesburg public library to host biannualiy, collective readings of Children's Literature as a promotion for literacy. SGA: "Ideas will be taken in meetings to follow." "Relay for life, Heart Walk, Nursing Home visits."

7 Sigma Chi Cast of Alpha Psi Omega: "Will continue the aid the three annual productions as well as specific projects within the theatre program." "Has been reviewing various humanitarian and programs to support through biannual fundraising.." Sjgma_Psi Nu: "Plans to take a sections of the walking track and adopt it. We will plant flowers and do other things to keep it clean and make it look nice. This will reflect well on the rest of the university." "Reinstate the turkey bash. " Sigma Tau Delta: "Our project that has been talked about is raising money to donate to the library for purchasing of new books." "One project that we have been doing is a children's book drive during Christmas. This is to give kids who are less fortunate, a chance to have a few good books to read for Christmas." Society for Advancement of Management: "Actively participated in campus events such as Homecoming, Business school homecoming events, preview day, activities fair, etc.. Participating in these events serve the university by presenting a positive impression to current and prospective students and also communicate positively to WCU alumni and other guests." "Students choose projects annually. Events include: March of Dimes fundraiser, Christmas toy and food distribution at the Salvation Army, junior achievement, gift baskets shared with local nursing homes, angel tree Christmas toy drive. These projects are chosen by students in the fall trimester."

8 Pi Kappa Delta: "Participate as student judges in high school debate tournaments." Describe your organization's plan for completing one off-carnpus community based service project: "Same as above." Student music therapy organization: "Possibly have students with disability come to campus and help put on events for them." "We will do at least 3 or 4 day camps for people with medical retardation, elderly, and autistic clients." Student Nurse Association: "Blood drive." Describe your organization's pian for completing one off-campus community based service project: "Relay for life, heart walk" WCU student for life: "Partnering with the BSD to reach out to students who don't know the love and grace of God." "We have begun to actively volunteer with Bethany Christian Services to help promote their fundraisers and counseling."
