2 Conference Theme: The conference is intended to comprehensively review various concepts of minimally invasive techniques in the field of gynecology. Seminars include the review of laparoscopic principles, anesthetic challenges in laparoscopy, classic multiport laparoscopy, various minimally invasive approaches of hysterectomies. In particular, the conference will focus on the concept of Single Incision Laparoscopic Surgery (SILS) and its technical applications in the field of gynecology. Practitioners are presented with an overwhelming amount of devices, technologies and options solicited by the companies who sell the equipment. The conference will provide objective evaluations and presentations to the attendees. The workshops will enable the attendees to discern which devices they may prefer by means of handson workshops with side-by-side comparisons. The practical qualitydriven tutorials will provide the attendees the knowledge base to make educated decisions about the type of equipment they may want to focus on in particular. Attendees will benefit multi-fold by efficiently having the options at their fingertips, at one convenient conference and actually trying the equipment.
