Park Place is looped between the Jones substation, located north of the Park Place on obson Road and the Miller substation, located south of Park Place on Germann Road. This translates to the development being served by either station at any given time. Redundant power is available but the cost varies. SRP s system standard is to provide looped circuits, which feed a building transformer from two directions at no additional cost. In the event of a circuit outage, as soon as the source of the problem is isolated via switching, service can be restored to the rest of the circuit. In surveys of similar electric utilities, SRP is best or second best in service restoration time in the event of an outage. FIBER Fiber is available and conduit is provided to the buildings.
