Educational goals and aims The aim of the course is: 1. To explain of community health, its basic manifestations and methods of disease or other health wellnes deviation causes investigations, theirs time and space changing. 2. To present of population health demands and examinations of the most common health deficiencies including oral health problems. 3. To familiarise students with the issue concerning the Social Dentistry, especially the legal regulations linked with the healthcare and dental practice, as well as, to present the possibilities of the use of computer database for medical purpose. 4. Presentation of environmental and social risk factors influencing human health 5. Presentation of modern methods in nutritional status measurements 6. To highlight the role of occupational health in dentist practice 7. Presentation of occurrence of NCD diseases and their prevention 8. To familiarize students with elements of the theory and practice of organization and management in the field of dental health care 3. Initial requirements 1. Knowledge of microbiology, physiology and patophysiology basics obtained in school. 4.
