3 LOCAL OPTION ELECTIONS There were twenty-nine local option elections during the fiscal year ending August 31, Eleven elections were called to legalize the sale of all alcoholic beverages for off-premise consumption only; eight remained "Dry" and three became "Wet". Two elections were calledto legalize the sale of beer for off-premise consumption only; one remained "Dry" and one became "Wet ll Two elections were called to legalize the sale of beer and wine for off-premise consumption only; one remained "Dryll andone became IIWet". One election was called to legalize the sale of allalcoholic beverages except mixed beverages' this area became "Wet". Two elections were called to legalize the sale of mixed beverages; one remained "Dry" and one became "Wet'. Justice Precinct No. 1 was "Wet" for the legal sale of beer for off-premise consumption only before the election was held and remained "Wet". COLEMAN COUNTY Justice Precinct No.1, Coleman County on May 5, 1975 voted 389 II For prohibiting the legal sale of all alcoholic beverages except mixed beverages II and 615 l'against prohibiting the legal sale of all alcoholic beverages except mixedbeverages.
