2 Welcome The International Liver Transplantation Society (ILTS) is pleased to invite you to attend the nd Annual International Congress, held May 4-7, 2016 in Seoul, Korea. The Congress is the leading educational meeting for scientists, surgeons, anesthesiologists, physicians, nurses and organ procurement personnel in the field of liver transplantation from all around the world. The 2016 Program Committee has designed this meeting to provide a forum for over 1,200 professionals in the field of liver transplantation to interact, network and discuss the latest updates and advancements in liver transplantation while appreciating a diversity of approaches for solving problems with liver transplantation around the world. To review recent innovative techniques in liver transplantation. 5. To enhance the dialogue regarding adults with pediatric liver disease. Accreditation Statement This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of Amedco and the International Liver Transplantation Society (ILTS). Amedco is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians. Credit Designation Statement Amedco designates this live activity for a maximum of 22.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits TM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

4 General Information Congress Location Coex Convention Center 58, Teheran-ro 87-gil Gangnam-gu, Seoul, Korea, The Coex Center will host this year's Congress. Seoul, Korea is an exciting destination where you will discover an ancient capital powered by some of the most modern technology on earth. Seoul is a place of boundless discoveries because the traditions of centuries have blended together with the fast-paced dynamism of the 21 st Century. The Congress site is in the heart of Gangnam, Seoul s business district. The Coex Convention Center has the two ILTS headquarters hotels attached to it as well as Asia s largest shopping mall and two top theaters. Hotel & Travel Information Hotel The ILTS has designated The Grand Intercontinental Hotel and the Intercontinental Seoul Coex to manage hotel accommodations at the Congress and provide discounted rates for attendees at the Congress location. 5 Program Information Abstracts Abstracts selected for the 22 nd Annual International Congress are presented in plenary, concurrent and poster sessions that will highlight the most outstanding papers. Notification of acceptance of these papers will be sent in January All accepted abstracts will be published in the scientific online journal supplement. All abstracts selected for presentation and the final program listing will be available online through the ILTS website by May Program Information Presentations at the Congress are given in several types of sessions that include: State-of-the-Art lectures, Featured Symposia, Vanguard Sessions, Plenary Abstract Sessions, Rising Star Symposium, Interactive Anesthesia Session; Concurrent Oral Abstract Sessions, Poster Sessions and Surgical Video Sessions. Exhibits The exhibits are an integral part of the complete educational experience and will feature vendors offering the latest technology and products in the field of liver transplantation. Detailed information about the exhibits will be available in the final program. 7 Registration Information The International Congress offers discounted registration rates if you register by April 13, Registration must be made online along with full payment by this date in order to qualify for the early registration. Early registration is strongly recommended to ensure timely processing of your registration and avoid lengthy onsite lines. Registration includes entrance to all scientific sessions and the opening reception/exhibit hall. The closing reception is an additional fee. Guest registration includes access to the opening reception and closing reception only. Payment Registration must be made online using a valid credit card. We cannot accept wire transfers, cash or checks. Registration Rates The International Congress offers discounted registration to ILTS members. You may join ILTS prior to registering to receive the discounted rates (by April 13, 2016). The patient had positive antibody screen to Anti-E, -K, - S, -Fya, -V, -Leb, and Bg. Diffuse hemorrhage was encountered throughout the surgical procedure that required massive blood transfusion. The patient developed acute hypoxemic respiratory failure that was treated with nitric oxide and continuous renal replacement therapy. Objectives: 1) Discuss the diagnosis of DIC in a patient undergoing LT, 2) Explore transfusion management in a patient with multiple antibodies, 3) Discuss management of ARDS in LT, and 4)

The patient had failed multiple attempts at TIPS, and presented for LDLT.
