Activity Description This educational activity is designed to update participants on current and emerging treatment and surgical techniques and technologies available in the field of ophthalmology. Included will be the latest information on combination cataract and glaucoma surgery, DMEK, keratoconus treatment, astigmatism management in cataract surgery, Toric IOL surgery, new retinal imaging technologies, as well as understanding orbital pulleys in clinical practice. Educational Objectives Upon completion of this activity the learner should have improved his/her ability to: Discuss effective strategies employed for advancing innovation in ophthalmology Discuss the benefits of earlier surgical intervention in slowing glaucoma progression Discuss management options for correcting astigmatism with Toric intraocular lenses Discuss the benefits of retinal oximetry Discuss the benefits and challenges of DMEK surgery Accreditation Statement The is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
