2 Thoughts from our President, Rick Heinz, South Metro Federal Credit Union October is coming to a close; hopefully everyone has had a chance to get their fall chores completed. Our October fun lunch was well attended with about 30 members attending and getting a chance to play laser tag and putt,-putt golf at Triple Play. Thanks to Mark and Melissa for a fun time. Also in October we held our second new member orientation with about 15 new members in attendance along with several Chamber Ambassadors and Chamber board members. We now have 335 total members. Awesome! We also sponsored a Downtown Forum on the October 16 at two different times during the day. It was very enlightening and will lead to a stronger Chamber in the long run Congratulations to the newly elected 2013 Board of Directors/Executive Board: President Elect-Chad LeMair, VP Elect-Gary Meyer, Secretary-Barb Johnson, Treasurer Kami Thompson, Andrew Anthony, Darcy Scholl, Cheryl Wilfond and Dawn Schulberg. It was the closest vote ever! Every voted counted, so also don t forget to vote on Tuesday, November 6. We should all give these people a special thank you for stepping forward and volunteering their time to serve as your chamber board. Our November lunch meeting is being held Wed.
