I am Chantelle de Jonge; some of you know me already, the young one on the CDAA board, stepping up this term as president. For those of you who don t know me, I am 19 years old, and have only been in the industry for a year! I can imagine this bio is a bit different than those of the past presidents! Hopefully I can bring some fresh energy and ideas to the Calgary Dental Assistants Association, with a team of amazing and experienced RDAs on the board next to me to serve you as fellow dental assistants. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions, feedback or ideas for the CDAA. We still have some openings on the board; I d love for you to join us! 4 Upcoming Education November 16 th, 2016 GM Lorraine Clifford- CHN, RDA II, MBPI The Association of Alberta Dental Assistants is holding their 4th annual provincial Tea & Talk on Saturday October 1st from 2:00 4:00 PM Royal Canadian Legion on Bremner Avenue in Red Deer This will be an opportunity for RDAs across the province to informally gather and discuss the future of our profession and issues of importance to Dental Assistants. We will have recent news from the Canadian Dental Assistants Association and the College of Alberta Dental Assistants to keep you informed. During this time period, she has accomplished a great deal in the first decade of her career. Graduating with honors from the Dental Assisting program at SAIT, she then went on to complete her Orthodontic module shortly thereafter. She has worked every role, worn every hat and mastered all the traits that eventually lead her to become an Operational Manager for Dr. Sam Daher's 6 offices. Samantha has recently started a dental human resources agency, Stream Dental Staffing Solutions. She strives to place you, the best dental professionals within the organizations that need you, working the positions which suits you!
