2 Target audience and programme We welcome families with hearing impaired children and young people across Europe to the camp. The event is chaired by the European Federation of Parents of Hearing Impaired Children FEPEDA in collaboration with the German association of deaf children (Bundeselternverband gehörloser Kinder), Hessian association of parents of hearing impaired children (Elternvereinigung hörgeschädigter Kinder in Hessen) and German youth association for young people with hearing impairments (Bundesjugend Verband junger Menschen mit Hörbehinderung). All associations have put their experience together to offer a great event to all participants. For adults we offer lectures and thematic workshops to learn more about empowering hearing impaired children and youth facing future challenges. For children and young people there will be several different guided activities. The evenings programme is for the whole family. Children s and youth programme Applicable for children from 4 years up to teens and young adults. 13 guides will offer a special programme for children and young people. The programme includes plenty of different supervised activities, like handcrafts, playing games, teambuilding activities as well as free time activities indoor and outdoor. The children s programme will be organised by association Bundesjugend who are very qualified and experienced in organising such activities. Children can participate to individual groups according to their age and interests. We further check possibilities for children s care under 4 years.

4 Location The holiday resort is located near Frankfurt in the Hochtaunus nature park in the panoramic area of Dorfweil, a small village in the Taunus hills, part of Schmitten, a climatic health resort. Arrival by train: Arrival at Frankfurt main station and switch to taxi. For further information please contact us in advance. Arrival by plane: Arrival at Frankfurt airport and switch to taxi. Cost for transfer by taxi is approx The distance from Frankfurt airport to Dorfweil is about 45 km / 50 min by taxi. In case you arrive at airport Frankfurt-Hahn there are 133 km to Dorfweil. 5 Accommodation & prices Accommodation There are single/double rooms. Comfortable apartments with 2 to10 beds suitable for up to two families sharing it together. All rooms and apartments have own WC and shower facilities. Apartments usually have a living room and two bathrooms. Prices per person from Sunday 4 th August to 9 th August 2019 Adults 18 years+ 395 * Children 0-3 years 50 Children 4-12 years 295 * Children years 350 * Single bed room supplement 80 *In case of early booking before 31 March 2019 you will receive 20 discount per person. Full price from Sunday 4 th August to 9 th August 2019 includes: - Programme for all days - Children s programme from Monday to Thursday (starting age of 4 years) - Breakfast, lunch, snack, dinner; starting with dinner to breakfast Towels and linen - Sauna and swimming hall and many other leisure facilities at the holiday resort Cancellation Free cancellation until 8 th June In case you cancel your participation - after 8 th June 50% of the price can be reimbursed. - after 6 th July 20 % of the price can be reimbursed. - after 20 th July there is no reimbursement possible. Exception may be possible if someone from the waiting list takes over the reservation. We recommend a travel cancellation insurance. Special rates for: - Attending the FEPEDA congress only (day-ticket): adults 45, children 30 - There are some pitches for camping with caravan and some tent sites available. 6 Registration 1. Please fill out the online form to register you and your family 2. Receive confirmation by FEPEDA about your reservation. Your invoice will be sent to you at the same time. 3. Your reservation can only be guaranteed after the total price has been transferred to the EUROFEST account. 4. Make sure FEPEDA knows your final travel details. The general language of FEPEDA EUROFEST Germany 2019 will be English. Interpreters for German spoken language German sign language will support our European Family Camp from Sunday evening to Thursday evening.
