5 Project Overview Reconstruct existing 2-lane roadway from FM 973 to Hunters Bend Rd Proposed project is included in plans for the Capital Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (CAMPO) including: 2040 Regional Transportation Plan (RTP) CAMPO Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) Anticipated construction cost of $7 Million FM 969 Public Hearing December 13,
6 Project Overview Need of the Proposed Project The existing facility does not adequately accommodate current traffic demands, nor would it meet expected future demands. ARCHEOLOGICAL RESOURCES Background Study and an Intensive Archeological Survey Review previously recorded archeological sites Conduct field surveys FINDINGS:Results were reviewed by TxDOT and the Texas Historical Commission.
