2 This binder includes the biographies and contact information for the Personal Trainers who work with Provo Recreation Center. The trainers set their own prices and their own appointments. They are all fantastic, certified personal trainers and have gone through an audition process with me before being hired (Lauren). Trainings sessions take place at The Fieldhouse located at Peaks Ice Arena.

3 RUDY DARVISH with Leantrition NSCA Certified Personal Trainer, Group Instructor ABOUT RUDY Rudy is a very experienced trainer, specializing in building muscle and strength. Rudy has been one of our personal trainers in Provo for the last 4 years and many have been satisfied with her ability to help reach their goals. She has competed in figure competitions which demand a rigorous training schedule prior to performing on stage. She can train males or females, young and old, no matter the injury or setback you may have. She is very attentive to proper form and will push you to your limits. 4 LEXIE HILL NASM Certified Personal Trainer, Group Instructor ABOUT LEXIE Lexie is an NASM Certified Personal Trainer. As a senior in high school, she was nominated to run the 2002 Olympic Torch for the Salt Lake City games. So, training and instructing classes inside the Peaks Ice Arena hits close to home and delivers all the feels! It was in her high school s weight training class, surrounded by football players, that Lexie learned to lift. She s been in love with strength training and fitness in general ever since, and especially loves Bench Press and Barbell Hip Thrusts. Lexie believes everybody is an athlete and deserves the best, strongest, and healthiest version of their body. She s most passionate about body composition changes and the personal growth determination, devotion, discipline, patience, humility that develops throughout the process. She knows the fitness lifestyle improves the person as much as it strengthens the body, and she s pumped to work alongside you and connect on that personal level as you reach your fitness goals! 5 AMY TURNER Registered Nurse RN-BSN, NASM Certified Personal Trainer, Group Fitness Instructor ABOUT AMY Amy is passionate about prioritizing fitness and preventative health care. In addition to being a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and group fitness instructor, Amy is also a Registered Nurse (RN-BSN). Amy loves to be creative; she is an expert at crafting unique training techniques and methods to help clients accomplish their goals. She loves empowering clients to overcome physical and mental limits through fitness. Amy combines conditioning and strength training to achieve ideal results. ABOUT RACHEL Rachel has rheumatoid arthritis and multiple sclerosis, so she knows how important it is to take care of your body and keep it strong so it can keep moving and working for you throughout your life. She loves sticking weight on people and helping them realize they can actually lift, it s so fun to watch them get the results that they want! Strong muscles equals strong joints, strong muscles and joints equals less pain. Less pain equals happier people! Happier people equals a better quality of life and someone that can conquer all their hopes and dreams! Rachel hope s to instill this in you and help you achieve all the amazing things in life you want! She also loves teaching Insanity and Fieldhouse Fitness classes! She loves HIIT style workouts, it s how she started and how she s been able to manage her health! Because of her health she knows when to push and when to back off. Listening to your body is key. 7 HANNAH ADKINS NASM Certified Personal Trainer, Group Fitness Instructor, ACE Sports Nutritionist Hannah has been a NASM CPT and Fitness Instructor for four years, and an ACE Sports Nutritionist for two. Believing that your workout is all about you, Hannah strives to create programs based off the needs and desires of her clients while striving to make their time with her effective and fun. She loves watching clients progress and achieve their goals by inspiring them to give their very best during each workout. She will always be your biggest cheerleader. Hannah combines weight lifting, cardio, and functional fitness formats to give clients the best workout possible in the time frame they desire. She believes that everyone can exercise regardless of gender, age, time restraints, or modifications needed. 8 RACHELLE BURRUP M.S. Exercise Science; NASM Certified Personal Trainer, Corrective Exercise Specialist, Fitness Nutrition Specialist; AFAA Group Fitness Instructor For the past 7 years Rachelle has been working in the health and wellness industry. Rachelle is passionate about exercise so that one feels good. She loves the challenge of adding variety into workouts and pushing her comfort zone while still being smart about it. Rachelle specializes in training those new to exercise and particularly strength training... youth to adult. She understands the importance of correct form to prevent injuries. Rachelle believes health and wellness takes a whole life approach. On a personal note, Rachelle loves a good leg workout, the sun, adventures, setting goals, and slalom water skiing. 9 MARIA JENSON NASM-Certified Personal Trainer, Fitness Nutrition Specialist; RRCA Running Coach, yoga teacher, PiYo instructor Maria Jenson is a displaced southern girl who s learned to love the Rocky Mountains. She is a self-professed outdoor enthusiast to be found on any trail near or far. Maria started running as a young teen and never stopped. She regularly has a marathon or two on the docket. Personal health challenges fuel Maria s drive to find solutions for every body. She meticulously cares for her own blood sugar, muscles and mind. Maria understands the importance of riding the edge of your comfort zone in order to find results; including physical training, diet and mental training. 10 ELISE ROMNEY NASM CPT, Group Fitness Instructor, Current NCAA Athlete Elise is newer to the instructor side of the fitness world but is very experienced in being the trainee. She understands the patience required to reach your goals and the work that must be put in to look and feel healthy. Being an athlete has given her great experience in training proper running form and understanding how to become not only strong, but fast, agile, and coordinated. Elise has experience with and enjoys training teenagers to help them excel in sports, but also loves seeing adults realize their abilities are endless despite having been around a bit longer! Her workouts are tailored to YOU, despite different body types, injuries, or experience. Studying to be a Physical Therapist, he is extremely knowledgeable about the body and how to coach you to achieve your goals. He thrives in the gym as an avid lifter and dedicates himself outside the gym to healthy eating and an active lifestyle. He is well versed in corrective muscular exercises to put your body into balance and start building muscle, feeling stronger, losing that unwanted weight and looking great. She is currently working towards her bachelors degree in Exercise and Wellness at BYU. Her experience with exercise has been a deeply personal experience.
