The importance of mental health for individuals, communities and nations has never been more appreciated as we all are challenged to be at our most effective in a fast-paced and stressful world. While much has been achieved in public education and de-stigmatization in mental health, our field cannot afford to stand still. The theme of the Conference focuses on the next steps forward in advancing knowledge, effective practice and prevention through innovation, integration and early intervention across the broad spectrum of mental disorders. This year the meeting venue is at the fabulous QT Hotel in Surfers Paradise. We have an excellent faculty of keynote, symposium and workshop speakers ready to inform you. Post Conference, delegates will receive access to the book of proceedings and presenter podcasts. Day Only Registration: 13 or 14 August 2015 Day Rate Registration will include Conference sessions, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea for nominated day, conference materials including satchel and handbook. Post Conference, delegates will receive access to the book of proceedings and presenter podcasts. (Does not include conference functions or workshops.) Tickets can be purchased from the registration form. Workshops: 12 August 2015 Half day workshops are FREE to the first 100 Full Registration delegates that book. Delegates MUST register their interest in attending a workshop. Failure to register for a workshop will be acknowledged as the delegate does not wish to attend a workshop and subsequently will not be included. Once the 100 free workshop registrations have been allocated full delegates will be able to book at the discounted rate of $90. Early Bird Registration Early Bird Registration is available for registrations received and paid before COB Friday 3rd July Registrations not paid by that date will be re-invoiced at the standard rate. Concession Registration Concession Registration Rate is available for Carers, Consumers, Students and Non-working delegates only. Refunds and Cancellations The Conference Committee understands that circumstances can change. At any point prior to the event you are welcome to contact us in writing to nominate a substitute delegate at no extra charge. A full refund less a $150 service fee will be issued for cancellations received on or before 30 June Registration cancellation received between 1 July 2015 and 14 July 2015 will receive a 50% refund on the registration fees. No refunds will be issued after 15 July Non-payment does not constitute cancellation. All accommodation bookings will be subject to the individual hotel cancellation policy. Please contact the Conference Secretariat for the hotel cancellation policy. Disclaimer The Conference Organisers reserve the right to change activities, topics and presenters where necessary. The Organisers shall not be liable for any loss caused by the cancellation of the Conference where such cancellation is due to Force Majeure. The term Force Majeure means any circumstance beyond the reasonable control of the Organisers including but not limited to War, hostilities (whether war be declared or not), terrorism, aircraft hijacking, military operation, riot, civil war, rebellion, civil commotion or unrest, Acts or Regulations of government, refusal to grant visas, explosions, transport delays, transport difficulties and the insolvency of airline carriers. The Organisers will use all reasonable efforts to conduct the Conference despite the intervention or occurrence of any such cause. Payments Once registration is received a confirmation and tax invoice will be issued. All accounts must be paid in full 30 days from the invoice date or 10 business days before the Conference start date, whichever comes first. Payment for Early Bird registrations must be received by 3 July The Organisers reserve right, without notification, to cancel outstanding accounts any time after 30 days from date of tax invoice being sent. If payment is not received prior to the Conference, access will be granted only after full payment is made via credit card or cash.
