3 Fundraising Ideas Easter, Spring, St. Patrick s Day, are all great ways to have a fundraiser. Start your planning NOW!! It s also a great time to start your Online fundraising. Once you sign up, you will receive so many ideas on how to benefit from Online fundraising. Do you have any fundraisers planned? They received a $50 discount off of their Registration fee and will receive their Team Captain T-shirt at Registration Night on May 23. Those participating in the Early Bird Registration MUST pay their $100 Registration fee on or before May 23 to receive their Team Captain t-shirt. All other Team Captains will receive their t-shirt in July. Remember, Team Captains need to sign up online before a Team Member can sign up. Encourage your Team Members to sign up online so they can personalize their webpage & even start fundraising early!! DREAM BIG -- HOPE BIG -- RELAY BIG!!! Messages from Kelly Candotti Our ACS Staff Partner Looking for a new way to fundraise for your team? Try hosting a Coaches vs. Cancer game. Coaches vs. Cancer is an athletic program to help the American Cancer Society fight every type of cancer. Participating is fun and easy, and also helps your players and students build character and learn valuable lessons about community service. Choose one game or a tournament, collect change at concessions, take donations from teams and fans, host contests pregame or during halftime, sell tickets and raffle off a great prize, ask for a suggested donation at entry, wear special uniform accents to support the fight against cancer, and more. Contact Kelly Candotti for additional information or to plan your event, or Kelly.Candotti@cancer.org! ACS will provide you with the supplies and support you need to make your fundraiser a success. Moving forward all offline donations must physically be turned in before they will be credited to the Relay For Life website, which allows the website ( to always be an accurate total of funds raised since all funds are accounted for before they are posted. Donations will be credited to each team/participant promptly when they are received by the ACS office. You will no longer have the option to post offline donations personally. If you or any members of your team find discrepancies in your online fundraising total, please confirm donations with Kelly at anytime via to Kelly.Candotti@cancer.org or at Thank you for understanding. We hope you will find this to be a great change that will allow participants to check the website for a more accurate picture of what funds have been raised to date!

David Lauer, a retired CPA and team captain of Emily s Sunshine Gang, is again preparing and e-filing personal income tax returns as a thank you for leaving him your check made out to the American Cancer Society.
