Press release: NHS cmmissiners launch nline survey as part f the big cnversatin arund urgent care NHS East Berkshire Clinical Cmmissining Grup (CCG) launches an nline survey as part f its drive t engage with lcal peple abut what matters t them when they require urgent care. The survey will run frm 10 July 6 August. Urgent care services are fr peple wh have an injury r illness that needs attentin the same day, but it is nt life-threatening r life changing. These services are currently prvided by a number f health prfessinals, including GPs, nurses, paramedics, pharmacists and thers. The CCG has had a busy few weeks talking t ver 280 lcal peple at meetings, nline via tw Cver It Live sessins and by visiting lcal cmmunity grups. These early cnversatins are designed t ensure that patients and lcal residents are invlved frm the beginning in influencing hw services shuld be develped. 9

10 The survey launches the secnd phase f the Big cnversatin arund urgent care. The survey has been designed t give lcal peple an idea f sme f the things we have heard already and test their views. The survey can be accessed by using the fllwing link: The insights frm these cnversatins and the survey will infrm what services culd lk like in the future. Dr Adrian Hayter, Lcality Lead fr Windsr, Asct & Maidenhead, said: It s really imprtant fr lcal peple t be part f this jurney t help us transfrm the future f urgent care in East Berkshire. We need lcal peple t share their experiences and tell us what matters t them when they have an urgent care need. He added: I wuld like t reassure the peple f East Berkshire that their feedback will be taken int accunt in develping ptins fr the future. If we need t prceed t a frmal cnsultatin stage befre making any changes, we will d s later in the autumn.
