2 45 TH ANNUAL Recent Advances in Neurology Ritz-Carlton Hotel, CA This meeting is designed for the practicing neurologist and provides a review of clinical neurology, with emphasis on areas of recent neurological advances and progress in patient management. Both current concepts and new advances in neurologic disorders will be covered. EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES The purpose of this course is to increase competence and improve clinician practice in neurology. We specifically anticipate improvements in skills and strategies to: Improve application of new concepts in dementing disease, multiple sclerosis, Tourette s Syndrome, Parkinson s disease, and the future role of stem cell therapy in neurologic diseases; Improve the diagnosis and management of stroke and epilepsy. ACCREDITATION The University of California, School of Medicine (UCSF) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
