Some might question the current health of aesthetic medicine given the plethora of those who practice in this area and the quality of their devices. Target Audience Dermatologists, facial plastic surgeons, oculoplastic surgeons, and plastic surgeons. Learning Objectives After completing this live activity, participants should be able to: Discuss new findings in the science of tissue healing and scar prevention. Recognize the factors that are important in selecting appropriate filler agents for treating different areas of the face and targeted planar depths. Explain the current and potential role of stem cells therapy in wound management, facial rejuvenation, and hair restoration. Describe the unique challenges and opportunities for periorbital rejuvenation. Incorporate into clinical practice current principles of rejuvenation of the skin and subcutaneous remodeling. Evaluate patients requesting breast contouring procedures and discuss appropriate options. Based on an enhanced understanding of facial anatomy, determine the appropriate nonsurgical and/or surgical techniques for facial rejuvenation.
