It s a modern herb course designed for the busy practitioner who wants to improve clinical outcomes. Nine clinically-oriented modules will apply herbal medicine to the following systems: foundations of herbal medicine; herbs for endocrinology; cardiology and metabolic syndrome; mitochondrial function; neurology and neurotransmitters; immunology; oncology; and gastroenterology. The program builds on your existing clinical experience; expands your proficiency in natural treatments; and offers flexibility to fit into your busy schedule. 3 Designed With Your Busy Schedule In Mind The Restorative Medicine Herbal Certification program is organized in nine well-developed, clinically-oriented modules: Foundations of herbal medicine Endocrinology Cardiology Men s Health Women s Health Neurology Immunology Oncology Gastroenterology The program is delivered via a combination of in-person events, online webinars and on demand recordings, all designed to accommodate your busy schedule. There are eight online webinars scheduled every one to two months, between June 2019 and April Each will start at 7 pm Eastern time and will run for approximately 2 hours. In addition, there 20 hours of recorded lectures that can be accessed on-demand whenever it s convenient. While most of the program material is delivered online, reducing the time and cost involved with travel, there are two live events scheduled to bring students and teachers together face-to-face for stimulating discussion and networking. The Spring Herb Seminar will be held May 14-16, 2019 at the Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden in Coral Gables, Florida, just south of Miami. Over the three days, speakers will cover: Herbs for the Immune Modulation and Autoimmune Conditions Herbs for Neurodegenerative Diseases and Neurotransmitters Herbs for Cardiovascular Conditions Herbs for Metabolic Syndrome and Blood Glucose Control Herbs for Gastroenterology For students unable to attend this event in person, the Spring Herb Seminar will be livestreamed.
