4 WELCOME LETTER Dear Colleagues, The Hematology Oncology Department at Hammoud Hospital University Medical Center has the pleasure to announce the First South Multi-Disciplinary Oncology Hematology Congress set to take place at Lebanese University - Faculty of Public Health - Section V, Saida on April, A unique feature of this congress is the opportunity to discuss in a multidisciplinary approach, state of the art procedures in the management of the most frequent types of cancers. The congress will also feature a debate about obstacles in accessing new drugs and therapeutics including local perspectives and potential strategies to overcome this problem. This Congress will provide an opportunity for medical doctors, Oncologists, Fellows, Pharmacists, Nurses, and other specialized medical entities to hear about the latest findings in the field from eminent experts coming from different Lebanese University Hospitals.
