1 GLYNN NICHOLAS THE PERFORMER Glynn Nicholas began his performing career in 1977 as a street performer in Munich. In his ten-year street-performing career he traveled the world, won numerous national and international competitions (including the Australian national championship in 1986) and garnered a reputation as one of the best street entertainers in Europe. From 1987 in a transition from solo performer to full-time producer / director his one-person and ensemble shows have received outstanding acclaim and have covered a vast array of performance styles including theatre, opera, musicals, cabaret, open-air events, festivals, concerts, dance, vaudeville radio and television production. He has appeared on national television in many national comedy shows, including his own series and is in demand in the corporate sector as MC, comedian and a character actor. He has written and starred in a number of workplace training videos for large corporations and is in constant demand as a collaborator with actors and writers alike. More of his time is now spent as a director and international producer. In 2005 and 2006 his company will produce four new works and mount a co-production production of Certified Male in the United Kingdom Glynn is Chairman of the Board of Big hart a National award winning organisation, working to re-engage marginalised communities & individuals through arts-based projects. From an initial grant of $15,000, Big hart has grown to become one of Tasmania's biggest Arts and Social Policy exports. Glynn still enjoys living in Melbourne and enjoys cooking and the cold weather. PATE BISCUIT A cross between Patsy Biscoe and the devil. Pate smiles for miles, is endlessly patronising, condescending and at heart a total bitch. She bullies her friend Bongo, the hand puppet, as she recounts horrific stories to the "children" in the audience. SERGEANT SMITH The vocally impaired Sergeant Smith is fat, not that smart, and a stickler for the law. Sergeant Smith enjoys giving advice to members of the audience and singing. He is easily moved to tears by beauty and has a Mars Bar habit. Did we mention he is corrupt?

Other characters include: Testeroni the lusty Italian Fourth Tenor Marcel Cliche, the French mime teacher Detlef the German tourist others can be created as appropriate to the function.
