1 A T Activities C o u n s e l l i n g T ra i n i n g Enlighten Action for Epilepsy ACT Report (Aug 2017) Enlighten - Action for Epilepsy provides support and care to those affected by epilepsy and also endeavours to remove prejudice through community education. Each month we reach our members and their carers as well as targeted sectors of the public through three avenues : ACT (Activities, Counseling and Training). Activities broaden and lighten the daily routine of members and carers through fun visits, sightseeing trips, interest classes, concerts and sports, to name a few. Counselling serves them through tailored made sessions by qualified social workers in hospital outreach and home visits. Training is organized for school children and teachers, and hope to extend to staff in public transport, commercial buildings and the street, on safe first-aid procedures in handling epileptic seizures.
