1 UNIFORM HANDBOOK 2016
2 School Uniform at Lauriston At Lauriston Girls School, our uniform is more than the clothes our students wear. From the moment they first put the uniform on, each student becomes a part of Lauriston and belongs to a community rich with history and the possibilities of a great future to come. The respect our students feel for themselves and each other is clear from the neat and orderly way that each girl presents herself. Every student who wears our uniform does so with pride; from top to toe, they become ambassadors for the school and go forth into the world knowing they carry with them the support of all students and staff. By wearing the same uniform, our students are able to push beyond barriers that might otherwise separate them and work together to get the best experience from their time in school. Freed from the distractions of what to wear, the uniform is an important part in distinguishing learning time from the rest of a student s life and allows them to put their education before all else. FLEXISCHOOLS Lauriston has introduced FlexiSchools as an online ordering system for the Uniform Shop. Place your uniform shop order through the FlexiSchools website and the uniform items will be packaged for your daughter s collection. FlexiSchools allows parents, students and staff to place orders from home, work or school at any time. The payment is managed online so no cash is required at school. 2 LAURISTON GIRLS SCHOOL UNIFORM HANDBOOK 2016
