2 Attention Members: New Meeting Policy Due to recent developments, we have found it necessary to impose a new meeting policy for dinner meetings at our local restaurants. To be sure you have a seat at our meeting, please RSVP by the designated date and time included in your invites prior to meetings by either EVITE or . Please understand that most restaurants require a firm head count at least seven (7) days prior to our meeting. Should you RSVP and do not show up or send someone in your place, we will need to invoice you for the $35.00 dinner fee as RPWST has to pay the cost of same. In order to avoid being invoiced, please notify us one week prior to the meeting that you will be unable to attend. Please make checks payable to RPWST. 3 New Technology Coming to RPWST: The Square Special announcement to our members: Our organization has recently signed up for an account in order to use the Square. Many of you may already be familiar with this device. This is a device that will allow members to make payments for meetings, membership, etc. using their personal credit and debit cards. It is very secure and allows us to accept payments in the form of Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. No more needing to bring cash or trying to find that check book during meeting check-in. A convenience charge of will be charged to those using their card as form of payment. For example, our $35 dinner meetings could be charged to your credit or debit card for a total of about $37. In the future, we will set up for meetings to be able to be paid for in advance was well, making meeting RSVP and payment a quick and efficient process you can do from home. And as always, we will continue to accept cash and checks before and upon entry into our meetings at no additional charge. Even more details to come!

7 ADD YOUR LOVED ONE TO OUR LIST Add your loved one to our care package recipient list by contacting us on our website, YOU ALONE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE You can be personally responsible for making it a little more comfortable for our troops by making monetary donation or donating items needed for Care Packages. Writing letters and sending cards to our military is another great way to boost the morale. We need VOL- UNTEERS to help in many areas. BUSINESS CAN HELP We are aking businesses to get involved and adopt a soldier or platoon, collect donationsfor magnets out of their place of business or make donations it is tax deductible! TEACHERS CAN HELP Get your students involved in writing lettrs, adopting a soldier and collecting goods to send! Student Council Groups, Key Club Members, ROTC, Students that need to ear service hours can donate their time in helping with our mission! CHURCH GROUPS CAN HELP Prayer is the first and most important! Work with your Church and collect donated items. We are Packing Care Package on the 2nd Wednesday of every month! Louisiana Federation of Republican Women (LFRW) welcomes you. By joining a local club, you can be a part of a group of over 2,000 Republican Women located throughout the State of Louisiana. And, you will be a member of our national organization, National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW). LFRW has 40 clubs in communities across the state. Membership is open to all registered Republicans who believe in the principles of the Republican Party. To become an active member of a club, you must be a registered Republican 18 years or older. Dues at the local level vary depending on the Club. On our LFRW Home Page, you can locate a club in your area by going to the LFRW Clubs section on the left panel. LFRW welcomes the formation of new clubs in any parish or community where presently there is no local club. If you are interested in starting a club where there is a need, the Region Vice President of the geographic area nearby your community will offer you assistance.
