2 What is Giving Tuesday? #GivingTuesday is a global day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration. Celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving (November 28th) and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving.

3 How can I get involved in ICISF s Giving Tuesday #HelpSaveTheHeroes Campaign this year? There are many ways that you can be an ambassador for ICISF this year. Follow us on all of our Social Media pages for the latest updates on our #HelpSaveTheHeroes Campaign. Post about our Giving Tuesday campaign on social media (samples have been provided on the following pages) Post an #Unselfie and tell us why you are giving to ICISF this year THANK A HERO! This time of year is not only about the season of giving, but also giving thanks. We would like to show our support of first responders not only in our community, but also nation wide and internationally. Help us give thanks to different first responders around the globe this year! They might be featured on ICISF s Giving Tuesday page and social media!

Go to and fill out the THANK A HERO! form by submitting a photo of a first responder, clinician, social worker, etc. in your community that has benefited from ICISF s training and their story on how the training has helped them, coworkers, and other community members.
